October Begins
Last night I found the perfect leaf and pressed into my pleasure journal. I discovered it on a lawn, on a street I used to avoid, walking with Jim after a delicious sushi dinner on my way to deliver my very first completed patient case to my supervisor, discussing handfasting ceremonies and flatulence.
Such is my life.
The past few weeks have seen many different things. I've been extremely busy with school, three jobs, dance rehearsals, and an attempt to maintain some semblance of a social life. I've seen my sisters twice in three weeks, which is definitely not nearly enough, but almost more than I had expected. I've had brief, but memorable meltdowns and anxiety attacks over various homework assignments, but have somehow managed to hand everything in on time and keep all of my hair. (During one particularly distressing episode, I was in Jim's apartment and noticed that he had kept his electric razor on the bathroom counter and, conveniently, PLUGGED IN. I think I only avoided disaster by reminding myself I had too much to do before taking a break with a razor.)
I just switched my facebook to "English (Pirate)" and it's amazing.
It really is the little things in life I love.
